As a cashier at Elgiganten Visby, you play an important role in our customers' experience. You are often the last person customers meet before they leave the store – and of course, we want them to leave with a smile!
For us, the job at the register is about much more than taking payment. You help our customers with everything from purchases and returns to complaints and questions, while ensuring that everything happens quickly, smoothly, and feels really good to shop with us.
We love when things happen! One moment you're helping a customer with a quick purchase, the next moment you're processing a return, and then suddenly the queue grows. That's when you need to keep your head calm, maintain the pace, and still give every customer a warm and professional experience.
And you certainly don't do this alone. At Elgiganten Visby, we work as a team, help each other, and have fun together along the way.
What will you do?
• Staff the register and help our customers with their purchases.
• Handle returns and complaints in a secure and professional manner.
• Ensure customers receive fast, smooth, and pleasant service.
• Answer questions and direct customers to the right colleague when needed.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to create a really great customer experience.
• Contribute to order, structure, and above all, a wonderful atmosphere in the store.
Who are we looking for?
You are cheerful, positive, and genuinely enjoy meeting and helping people. You have a natural ability to create a pleasant interaction, while being thorough and taking responsibility for what you do.
When the pace picks up, you can stay calm, prioritize, and continue to provide good service. You also enjoy being part of a team where people support each other and together make sure the work gets done.
