About the Position We are now seeking a certified teacher of Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language at the high school level for a temporary position at KompetensCentrum in Tidaholm Municipality. KompetensCentrum is an adult education program located in close proximity to Rudbecks Gymnasium, where we offer courses and educational programs across many different areas and at various levels. At KompetensCentrum, instruction is largely delivered through near-distance learning, while some courses are held on-site. Near-distance learning means that the course begins with an in-person kickoff with students, after which instruction is conducted primarily remotely. Students receive regular digital guidance and lessons throughout the course. Students may also receive guidance on-site at so-called Study Rooms. At various times, tests and examinations are conducted on-site. Courses typically run for 20 weeks and start 4 times per year. KompetensCentrum and Rudbecks Gymnasium work closely together, which you will notice in various ways. You may also teach some courses at Rudbecks Gymnasium. Rudbecks Gymnasium is located in a beautiful setting by the water on Vulcan Island. The school has buildings on Vulcan Island and on Smedjegatan, situated among lush green spaces. About the Position We are seeking a vocational teacher for the Electrical and Energy Program at Rudbecksgymnasiet in Tidaholm. The position includes teaching in automation technology, programmable control systems, alarm, monitoring and security systems, and CAD. In addition to teaching, business contacts and workplace-based learning are an integral part of your work. Mentoring and other teaching duties are included in the position.
