The Operation Working as a personal assistant means providing the user with the support and help needed to create security, independence and a good quality of life. The work is performed in the user's home and includes personal care, support with meals, and certain health and medical-related tasks. The role also includes supporting the user in daily activities and leisure interests to promote an active, meaningful and participatory life. The work is varied and contains several practical and physically demanding elements, which may include heavy lifting and tasks that require good physical ability, strength and flexibility. Work Tasks As a small team around the user, you will plan and carry out activities together with the user in the home. You will help with daily routines such as household chores as needed. You will also assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals. Qualifications Who are you? We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine interest in working within LSS and social psychiatry and wants to make a difference. Has knowledge of neuropsychiatric functional limitations (NPF) and is familiar with low-stimulus interaction and clarifying pedagogy. Is flexible, engaged and has a warm demeanor. Values collaboration and has a positive attitude. Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position requires that you master the Swedish language very well both verbally and in writing. Previous experience or education is meritorious but the right personality is most important in our recruitment process. Your work as a personal assistant is so much more than just a job, it is an opportunity to make a significant difference for another person. What matters is that you are a good fit with the user and can handle the work tasks to be performed. Personal Qualities You are secure, stable, have self-insight and are independent.
