We are looking for you to help evaluate Sida's work and contributions. Are you interested in development cooperation and data analysis? Then the position as an evaluator at Sida might be for you! About the Position We are seeking 1-2 junior evaluators. These positions are located in the Results Department's evaluation team within the unit for methods, results, and evaluation. Sida's evaluation team currently consists of five employees and is led by a chief evaluator. The work involves Sida's strategic evaluations, various materials, and support to operational departments and overseas offices. We offer a developmental and varied position within a dynamic and active unit. You will work at our office in Rissne, Sundbyberg. Responsibilities Compilation and analysis of evaluation-related materials. Systematic analysis of materials related to the implementation of development cooperation. Prepare materials and preliminary analyses for Sida's central evaluations. Contribute to methods development within evaluation at Sida. Qualification Requirements Education Academic degree in a relevant field (for example, economics, mathematics, statistics, political science). Languages Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing (C1). Good ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing (C1). Work Experience and Knowledge Experience conducting studies that require systematic data collection and analysis. Experience working with analysis or evaluation in collaboration with others. Knowledge of and experience working with quantitative methods and advanced data analysis software. Interest in and knowledge of development issues and international development cooperation. Functional Competencies/Skills: For this role, you need to: Be good at collaboration and building trustworthy relationships. Be able to direct yourself and take responsibility for your own development. Contribute to new thinking and innovation. Be able to use various analytical tools. For this role, it is advantageous if you have Experience evaluating development cooperation. Knowledge of evaluation theory and methods, especially impact evaluation, including rigorous, experimental methods, quantitative or qualitative approaches. Experience working in or with countries and regions prioritized within Swedish development cooperation. Knowledge of languages relevant to Sida, such as Ukrainian/Russian, Arabic, French, or Spanish. The positions are located in the Results Department in the evaluation team within the Method, Results and Evaluation Unit. Sida's evaluation team consists of five employees and is led by a chief evaluator. The job involves supporting operational departments and overseas missions, designing and leading Sida's strategic evaluations, developing evaluation methods for Sida, and promoting learning from evaluations. We offer a developing and varied position within a dynamic and active unit. You will work at our office in Rissne, Sundbyberg.
