About the Position
We are seeking 1-2 junior evaluators. These positions are located in the Results Department's evaluation team within the unit for methods, results, and evaluation. Sida's evaluation team currently consists of five employees and is led by a chief evaluator. The work involves Sida's strategic evaluations, various materials, and support to operational departments and overseas offices. We offer a developmental and varied position within a dynamic and active unit.
You will work at our office in Rissne, Sundbyberg.
Responsibilities
Compilation and analysis of evaluation-related materials.
Systematic analysis of materials related to the implementation of development cooperation.
Prepare materials and preliminary analyses for Sida's central evaluations.
Contribute to methods development within evaluation at Sida.
Other tasks within the evaluation function, such as organizing seminars, courses, etc.

Qualification Requirements
Education
Academic degree in a relevant field (for example, economics, mathematics, statistics, political science).
Languages
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing (C1).
Good ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing (C1).
Work Experience and Knowledge
Experience conducting studies that require systematic data collection and analysis.
Experience working with analysis or evaluation in collaboration with others.
Knowledge of and experience working with quantitative methods and advanced data analysis software.
Interest in and knowledge of development issues and international development cooperation.

Experience evaluating development cooperation.
Knowledge of evaluation theory and methods, especially impact evaluation, including rigorous, experimental methods, quantitative or qualitative approaches.
Experience working in or with countries and regions prioritized within Swedish development cooperation.
Knowledge of languages relevant to Sida, such as Ukrainian/Russian, Arabic, French, or Spanish.
Good to Know
These positions are permanent positions with start date as soon as possible. A probationary period applies.
Sida offers the possibility of remote work to a certain extent if it works for operations.
