About the position As a textile crafts teacher, you plan and conduct clear and varied instruction based on the curriculum's objectives. You create an inspiring crafts environment where students can develop their creativity, practical skills, and ability to think independently. You actively work to create safety and study conduciveness and see each student's individual conditions and needs. Mentorship may also be part of the position. You become part of a committed work team and work closely with colleagues, student support services, and school management. The pedagogical activities are based on each student's prerequisites and are built on instruction designed in accordance with the curriculum's objectives. As an educator, you enhance students' school day by inspiring, organizing, and delivering structured instruction as well as supporting students' social development. You support students and the school in becoming a safe, stimulating, and educational environment during the school day. You are part of a work team and together with local student support services and school leadership, you develop a stimulating, pleasant, and developmental operation with safety and an atmosphere conducive to study. We work with relationship-based leadership in the classroom based on literature, research, and experience.
