JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You who are applying should be interested in creating a pedagogical environment that challenges and stimulates students' development and learning in mathematics, chemistry, and biology in grades 7-9. The pedagogical activities are based on each student's prerequisites and are built on instruction designed in accordance with the curriculum's objectives.
As an educator, you enhance students' school day by inspiring, organizing, and delivering structured instruction as well as supporting students' social development. You support students and the school in becoming a safe, stimulating, and educational environment during the school day.
You are part of a work team and together with local student support services and school leadership, you develop a stimulating, pleasant, and developmental operation with safety and an atmosphere conducive to study.
We work with relationship-based leadership in the classroom based on literature, research, and experience. There is exciting development work underway with the goal of educators and other staff supporting each other in developing a good school.
We expect you to have strong commitment to driving and developing digital and developmental methods. In teaching, we work with various types of learning and structures that support student collaboration.
In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work, individually and together with others, and keep yourself updated on new research, current events in the world, and identify development opportunities in the operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Teacher certification with qualifications to teach grades 7-9 in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Experience is desirable.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: By agreement, End date: 2026-12-18.
There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on operational needs.
