Switchgear Designer/Project Manager for Low and Medium Voltage
Your responsibilities As a designer of electrical switchgear equipment and power contracting, you are responsible for maintaining a high technical level, working cost-effectively, and meeting established schedules. You design circuit diagrams for power, control, and auxiliary circuits in CAD. You are responsible for providing production with technical documentation and documenting your projects, as well as being the customer's contact in the project from estimation to completed installation. In your role as designer/project manager, you work closely with production, procurement, and our customers. Participate in installed systems on-site when needed. You report to the site manager. Your background/personality We are looking for someone who is confident and independent problem solver. You have a strong business understanding, are detail-oriented, and have the ability to see the bigger picture in large infrastructure or industrial projects. You have experience in electrical power design from low voltage up to 24 kV. If you have worked with design in the power industry, power contracting, switchgear, or as an electrical consultant, that is a great advantage. If you have worked as an electrical designer for at least 3 years or longer, you are highly interesting to us. Knowledge of CAD and experience from the industry are particularly valuable. B-driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish & English If you are driven, creative, systematic, service-oriented, and independent, you are the right person for us. With us, you'll become the expert who transforms technical inquiries into winning bids for our customized low-voltage switchgear and control centers. Your main responsibilities Bid work: Take responsibility for the entire estimation process from inquiry to completed bid. Technical analysis: Review and interpret source materials, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications. Pricing: Calculate material and labor costs and optimize technical solutions. Supplier contact: Request and evaluate quotes from component suppliers. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, design engineers, and project managers at Elektrofabriken. Your profile Experience: Previous work with estimation or design within electrical power/low-voltage. Technical knowledge: Good understanding of switchgear, control centers, and distribution systems. Education: Engineering degree in electrical/electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., leading technician). Qualities: Structured, analytical, and with a strong business mindset. Languages: Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
