Factory Controller at Husqvarna AB
Are you an analytical economist who thrives close to operations and wants to be where business decisions are actually made? We are seeking a Factory Controller who wants to take a key role in an international industrial group and contribute to the development of two important production facilities. About the Position As a Factory Controller, you will become an important part of Husqvarna Group's Factory Controlling team within Finance Global Operations. You will function as the factory manager's closest financial partner and work closely with production, engineering, procurement, and supply chain. Here you will have the opportunity to combine business understanding, analysis, and financial monitoring in an operations-focused role where your insights make a difference every day. You will be responsible for two factories: a component factory in Huskvarna and a production unit in Åsbro. The role is characterized by great independence while being part of an experienced and supportive controller team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday work. Responsibilities As a Factory Controller, you will, among other things: Be responsible for monthly and annual closings as well as forecasting and budgeting work Monitor productivity, costs, investments, and financial results Analyze variances and identify causes behind deviations Provide business support to factory management and operations Work with standard costing, cost tracking, and savings initiatives Compile and report financial key metrics to division and group Manage internal cost allocations and accounting entries between factories Participate in development initiatives related to digitalization and AI within the controlling function About You You have post-secondary education in economics, such as university or similar vocational education You have at least one year of experience with controller-related tasks You have good knowledge of Excel and are experienced with analysis work You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing You have strong analytical and logical thinking You thrive working close to operations and translating numbers into insights We consider it a merit if you have experience with: SAP JD Edwards Budgeting and forecasting work in a production environment Standard cost accounting Power BI or other analysis tools Working in an international organization To succeed in this role, we believe you are curious, unpretentious, and not afraid to ask questions. Welcome to Husqvarna Finance! About the role: You will be part of our international organization Global Business Services (GBS) and belong to the Accounting Sweden team. You report to the Accounting Manager Sweden and work closely with colleagues in the Swedish organization and other functions across the group. In this role, you will primarily work with internal accounting and financial statement reporting. You actively contribute with analyses, ensure quality, and provide support to operations in Sweden and internationally. Together with the team, you will have the opportunity to explore new ways of working and technologies – such as digital solutions and tools within Finance – and help develop both processes and ways of working forward where knowledge sharing and collaboration are natural parts of everyday work. We see that you have: Post-secondary education in finance (university, college, or vocational school) At least three years of experience in qualified accounting or audit work Meritorious if you have a background as an auditor or accounting consultant, or have worked at a larger company Very good Excel skills and system familiarity Meritorious if you have experience with automation, AI, or working with digital tools within Finance (for example Finance solutions or finance agents) Interest in and understanding of financial processes Fluent Swedish and very good English, both spoken and written, as English is our group language and is used daily in the role Location: The position is located at our office in Huskvarna.
