Short-term supervision is conducted as a regular leisure activity adapted to the young people's needs. The activities are located at four different schools: Vega, Brandbergen, Svartbäcken, and an adapted upper secondary school. We have young people from all over Haninge municipality. The goals of short-term supervision include: Provide young people with a safe and meaningful leisure time. Promote social development and peer relationships. Strengthen self-confidence, independence, and participation. Develop everyday life skills for adulthood. Offer activities adapted to each student's needs, circumstances, and wishes. Provide opportunities for activities, community, recreation, and personal development. Your Assignment Short-term supervision is provided in conjunction with school days for students over 12 years old until they graduate. Activities are conducted before and after school days, during school breaks and study days, but not on public holidays. As a support assistant, you have a personal responsibility to perform your duties in accordance with LSS and Haninge Municipality's values. Your assignment aims to support young people in achieving their individual goals and needs, with a focus on self-determination, participation, and accessibility. In your work, you actively participate in activities that promote social interaction and independence, and support individuals in having their individual needs and wishes met. In your work, you always strive to see opportunities to give the individual a meaningful life. You use cognitive aids to create a predictable and safe environment and meet the individual's psychological, physical, and social needs, including personal hygiene and communication. You establish and follow up implementation plans together with the young person, where the focus is on their unique needs and wishes. You are also responsible for maintaining current and accurate documentation according to LSS to ensure legal certainty and follow-up of interventions. You collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other actors in the individual's network to ensure a holistic view and good quality of support. Meeting the service user based on their needs can vary. This requires that you are active in acquiring new knowledge and new working methods based on proven experience and evidence. Your Qualifications Adequate education, such as care and welfare education or other pedagogical education that we deem equivalent. Experience working with people who have been granted interventions under LSS. Experience with people with neuropsychiatric variations, autism-like conditions, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome. Experience documenting when the activity has a documentation obligation. Previous experience with challenging behavior, MI, and low-intensity approaches. Knowledge of IBIC. Knowledge of clear pedagogy. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Additional Information The position is a part-time job. We have morning supervision before school between 07:00-09:00 and then a break during school hours, starting again when school ends, usually 13:00-17:00. On study days and school breaks, we work full-time. We are looking for several people, both those who can work both supervisions and those who can work only afternoons. We provide support to people with neuropsychiatric variations, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability who live in residential facilities with special services in Haninge municipality. We are now seeking two group leaders who want to contribute to a safe and high-quality service for people within LSS. In this role, you are responsible for leading and distributing daily work within the staff team and ensuring that services are delivered according to applicable procedures and legislation. You work closely with the operations manager and have an important function in monitoring incidents, deviations, and quality work according to our management system. As a group leader, you are a pedagogical role model and work with professional conduct. You participate in planning and monitoring procedures, action plans, and social documentation, and are responsible for introducing new employees and substitute staff. The role also includes scheduling, personnel planning, and participation in recruitment. You lead meetings with staff, commissioners, and family members and actively contribute to the development of the operations. Your assignment as group leader is based on LSS principles, where the guiding principles for how services are provided are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and holistic perspective.
