Now we are looking for a confident and dedicated occupational therapist for the municipality's rehabilitation unit. HERE'S WHAT YOUR WORK WILL ENTAIL As an occupational therapist at our rehabilitation unit in Flen municipality, you play a crucial role in making daily life possible and meaningful for our residents. In your role, you work person-centered conducting ADL assessments and designing and following up on individually tailored training to promote the individual's independence. You are responsible for prescribing, fitting, and adapting assistive devices, while also guiding care staff so they feel confident in their use. The assignment also includes assessing needs and issuing certificates regarding certain home adaptations to create a safe and accessible home environment. A central part of your work involves educational support; you provide guidance to both individual patients and their loved ones, and you guide and support nursing staff in applying a rehabilitative approach in daily work. THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT YOU: Are a licensed occupational therapist. Have a B-level driver's license. Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. WE VALUE THIS HIGHLY: Experience working in elderly care and/or in the field of functional disabilities. Previous experience working in municipal health and medical care or rehabilitation activities.
