County Adult Psychiatry Falun/Säter has a regional mandate in adult psychiatry and is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The operations are divided between Falun and Säter. In Säter, there is the region's only psychiatric acute care clinic as well as units 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a dependency center, a general psychiatric inpatient ward, LARO, and ECT services. Unit 90 in Säter serves patients with severe psychiatric conditions and a significant need for intensive care and observation, such as in cases of psychosis and manic episodes. Many patients are cared for according to LPT. The unit has 10 care beds and high staffing around the clock.
