About the Operations We are now seeking nurses for the psychiatric acute care clinic as well as units 90 and 95. County Adult Psychiatry Falun/Säter has a regional mandate in adult psychiatry and is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The operations are divided between Falun and Säter. In Säter, there is the region's only psychiatric acute care clinic as well as units 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a dependency center, a general psychiatric inpatient ward, LARO, and ECT services. Unit 90 in Säter serves patients with severe psychiatric conditions and a significant need for intensive care and observation, such as in cases of psychosis and manic episodes. Many patients are cared for according to LPT. The unit has 10 care beds and high staffing around the clock. Unit 95 is a general psychiatric ward with 14 care beds for patients with varying psychiatric diagnoses and comprehensive care needs. Patients are cared for according to HSL or LPT. Nurses, caregivers, and doctors work together in teams here with a focus on safe and person-centered care. The position includes day and evening work as well as weekend service rotation—every other or every third weekend. Work Tasks Psychiatric Acute Care Clinic As a nurse at the psychiatric acute care clinic, you will, among other things: Assess patients' psychiatric condition by phone (Tele-Q) and during physical visits Work with prioritization using the RETTS triage system Provide advice, support, and information about treatment options and strategies Work closely with doctors and other care staff Participate in evaluating the work efforts of ST doctors and support AT doctors and other doctors in daily operations Collaborate with partner care units such as Prehospital Acute Care (PEA), ambulance, police, and other agencies You have a central role in the first meeting with the patient. Units 90 and 95 As a nurse on our units, you lead and distribute care work on the unit. You are responsible for rounds, conduct patient and family meetings, and cooperate with partner units. The role also includes participating in discharge planning and performing blood tests and medication management. You collaborate with care coordinators regarding ÖPT patients. On the units, nurses, doctors, and caregivers work in close collaboration as well as with the treatment team (social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist). All patients are assigned contact persons for individual care responsibility. On unit 95, you work in care teams and team rounds. There is also support from unit coordinators during daytime. Qualifications We are seeking you who: Are a licensed nurse (or graduating soon). Have an interest in psychiatric care, particularly in acute phases. Are flexible, take responsibility, and want to develop in your professional role. Have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team. We also welcome newly graduated nurses with an interest in psychiatry—you will receive introduction and support in your new professional role with us.
