As a Pipe Network Technician at Sigtuna Water & Waste Management, you will have varied and independent work where no two days are the same. In the role of Pipe Network Technician, you work with operation, maintenance, renewal, and development of the municipality's pipeline networks and water/wastewater facilities. You are an important part of ensuring a secure and functioning water and wastewater supply for the municipality's residents and businesses. In the role of Pipe Network Technician, you mainly work with practical fieldwork where you and your colleagues are responsible for operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's pipeline networks. The work is varied and includes everything from planned maintenance operations to emergency measures for operational disruptions and water leaks. The work includes, among other things: • Supervision, maintenance, and repairs on Sigtuna Water's pipeline networks and associated water/wastewater facilities. • Practical work with pipeline networks such as excavation work, valve replacement, service work, troubleshooting, and repairs. • Participation in renewal and development work on pipeline networks. • Coordination of work together with other staff, contractors, and clients. • Follow-up and documentation in GIS systems. • Contact with subscribers, contractors, and the public. • Other work related to water/wastewater operations within Sigtuna Water. In addition to the above duties, you are expected to participate in training, seminars, and other development initiatives that strengthen both your competence and the development of Sigtuna Water's pipeline networks and water/wastewater operations. We invest in skills development and would like to see you grow together with the organization through training and new areas of responsibility. The position includes scheduled on-call service. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience in operation and maintenance work within water/wastewater, or experience with pipeline networks, contracting, earthwork, installation work, or similar operations. You have a Category B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience working with GIS systems, a Category BE driver's license, or forklift or heavy machinery operator certification. If you have training in PE welding or a diploma in pipeline networks, we consider that an extra plus. The position requires upper secondary education.
