As a Unit Manager at Transdev, you have overall leadership and development responsibility for our largest and most important occupational group—our drivers! About the Role
As Unit Manager, you're responsible for leading the group's daily work and ensuring high quality, efficiency, and safety in our operations. Your responsibilities include:
Conducting active, present, and values-driven leadership.
Ensuring planned traffic operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable agreements.
Driving development initiatives for the unit, focusing on production, environment, and personnel.
Managing administration related to reports, deviations, and follow-ups.
Working with analyses and measures related to deviations and quality metrics.
Taking responsibility for delegated workplace safety work, including regular safety inspections.
Conducting employee conversations and workplace meetings.
Handling labor union matters.
Making decisions related to personnel planning, including overtime, in dialogue with the personnel planner and depot manager.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with confident and mature leadership who thrives in a role combining operational presence with strategic work. To succeed, you have:
Upper secondary education or equivalent.
At least 3 years of documented experience from service professions.
3–5 years of experience with personnel responsibility and team leadership.
Experience with budgeting, financial monitoring, reporting, and deviation management.
Strong knowledge of leadership, finance, labor law, workplace safety, and negotiation.
Ability to work structurally, independently, and maintain good organization in planning and prioritization.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office and Excel.
Category B driver's license.
