The Ground Workshop performs maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment and provides technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection. Main duties As a technician in the Ground Workshop's Field Telecommunications section, you will perform function tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on the Swedish Armed Forces' communications equipment. Work tasks include maintenance of soldier-worn, cab-mounted, and vehicle-mounted telecommunications, radio and command systems used in our ground units. Several tasks (both troubleshooting and repair) take place in our telecommunications workshop. However, there are also tasks and assignments at our units' locations or elsewhere under simple field conditions.
