Since 2009, we have been implementing pedagogy based on Friluftsfrämjandet's I Ur och Skur program, where nature is an integral part of our activities year-round. We view outdoor time as an important foundation for children's learning, health, and wellbeing. Outdoor recreation, outdoor pedagogy, and environmental awareness are therefore central to our daily work. Each week, the children go on forest excursions in different outdoor groups: Knopp, Knytte, and Mulle. Working With Us As a parent cooperative, we value close and respectful collaboration between educators and parents. Both staff and parents are engaged in the operations and together contribute to creating a safe and welcoming preschool for the children. As a child care provider at Okay, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the operations and influence them together with your colleagues. Since we are a smaller organization, we help each other and everyone contributes to the whole. We actively work with our learning environments, both indoors and outdoors, and want to give children the opportunity to develop through play, creativity, movement, nature experiences, and community. You have good collaboration skills and appreciate close dialogue with parents. You are flexible and see opportunities in working in a smaller organization where everyone helps each other. You are positive, proactive, and contribute to a good work environment. Experience with I Ur och Skur, other outdoor pedagogy, or work in a parent cooperative is a plus, but not required.
