About the Role Do you want to work strategically and technically with the management of a modern vehicle fleet in a socially critical operation? We are now looking for a Vehicle Manager who wants to take a key role in the development and management of our vehicles from a lifecycle and cost-efficiency perspective! In your role as Vehicle Manager for the C20 vehicle fleet, you are expected to ensure that the vehicles are managed, developed, and maintained from a long-term LCC perspective so that function, performance, and condition are maintained throughout the vehicles' entire lifecycle. You have overall responsibility for the management plan, which includes planning, implementation, and monitoring, as well as communicating it to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Monitor vehicles and components' operational performance, condition, and other important aspects, and initiate actions where needed with a focus on cost-efficiency and lifecycle perspective. - Analyze the vehicles' operational reliability, failures, and maintenance needs, and propose improvement measures. - Work with LCC analyses and LCC models. - Be responsible for and continuously update the management plan for C20 and ensure compliance with agreements and ISO 55000 standard. - Initiate, participate in planning and monitoring of technical assignments. - Participate in meetings internally and with external parties regarding vehicle management. - Monitor the configuration of vehicles and the change management related to vehicles and their components. - Be responsible for the C20 vehicles' maintenance plan. - Work with change management matters. - Monitor issues related to upgrade projects, conversions, or investigations related to the vehicle fleet. - Contribute to continuous improvement work, develop asset management processes in accordance with requirements and standards such as ISO 55000. Qualifications - Engineering education with technical focus (post-secondary education in technology, economics, or equivalent). - Several years of professional experience with vehicle technical work, preferably within rail-bound vehicles. - Knowledge of operational reliability and LCC. - Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written. - Good knowledge of English, spoken and written. - Very good knowledge of the Office suite and good computer skills. - Experience in vehicle maintenance is an asset. - Ability to be action-oriented, structured, and solution-focused. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize what is important. - Strong communication skills to coordinate and build consensus among different stakeholders.
