About the Correctional Service The Correctional Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more staff members. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. When we succeed, society becomes safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation services, detention facilities, and inmate transport. Kristianstad has a new detention facility with 120 places located in the new Justice Center district, and nearby there is a smaller older facility with 29 places. Warehouse Worker at the Potato Storage in Nöbbelöv
In Nöbbelöv just outside Kristianstad, we have our potato storage facility. Here potatoes are stored and washed before they become golden chips in OLW's factory. We are now looking for several seasonal employees for the warehouse who can work during the period September 14 to October 25. You will work in a team with other colleagues to perform the tasks at hand, which mainly consist of all or some of the following tasks: Preparing the warehouse for the upcoming potato storage season by carrying out repairs of machinery and buildings. Operating a forklift and loader Cleaning and washing the warehouse. Unloading potatoes and receiving potatoes During receipt and storage of potatoes in the fall, manage work at the various dumping and sorting stations. Performing various types of sampling of potatoes. It is an advantage if you have a forklift and/or loader operator certificate. The work tasks are performed in our potato warehouse where we receive potatoes directly from farmers' fields.
