Our Operations team in Stora Sundby is on an exciting development journey; we're growing globally and collaborating with operations colleagues around the world. We're also continuing our work with digitalization and AI implementation, which opens up many exciting opportunities for the factory and Operations organization. We have already, and will continue to invest in the Stora Sundby factory regarding facilities, machinery, and production flow. We want to expand our Production Engineering team and are now looking for our next colleague. We're open to different profiles; either you have more experience and interest in machinery and production technology itself, or you're more drawn to the production development side. Perhaps you've worked extensively on projects, implemented production of new products, or similar. What matters most is that you have experience in electronics manufacturing. You'll be part of the Production Engineering function within Westermo Operations, a department with two groups that combine technical expertise with strategic development work. We support daily production and focus on improving efficiency, finding smart solutions, and digitalizing and globalizing our production. Are you our next Production Developer? In this role, you'll be the technical expert, together with your colleagues, for our advanced production equipment. Your immediate colleagues are the other production engineers, as well as operators who have additional roles as "PT-close", a kind of first-line support for production technical questions in manufacturing. You ensure optimal performance through programming, calibration, maintenance, service, and troubleshooting. Beyond daily work, you participate in improvement projects and contribute to global initiatives that increase efficiency and quality. The role also includes documentation, writing instructions, and developing and improving our work processes. Your main areas of responsibility: • Program, calibrate, and optimize machinery for high quality production • Perform maintenance, service, and repairs to minimize downtime • Communicate with external partners (in both Swedish and English) • Troubleshoot technical problems • Create technical product information (Labeling) • Implement and follow up on quality controls • Participate in projects for process development, investment in new equipment, digitalization, and industrialization of new products • Lead or co-lead Operations projects • Collaborate globally to support production units in Europe and India (where we recently opened a small assembly factory for local volumes) Who are we looking for? Test Engineer - Flying Probe

Within our Test Engineering Department, a close team of Test Engineers work together to develop and implement new test solutions within Operations. The team interacts closely with both R&D and Production, to make sure our products (routers and switches) are true to specification and ready for production. We are looking for a test engineer, preferably with a flying probe technology focus, to complete the team and help us keep delivering products of the high quality we are known for! Are you our new Test Engineer – Flying Probe? As a Test Engineer, you will have the chance to lead and participate in projects, assisting with test related issues in production. You will work on maintaining HW and SW updates on products, troubleshoot and develop test programs and methods for our products and platforms. The Test Engineers work close to several other teams; such as Quality, Project Office and the Production Team. You will develop new tests in development projects as well as analyze and troubleshoot in maintenance projects. We mainly use LabView for programming. Part of the job is also to document test plans and instructions.
