Systems Developer / Full Stack Developer – E-commerce (50%) ABS Wheels is looking for an experienced systems developer who wants to be part of developing our new e-commerce platform. We're looking for someone with several years of web development experience and previous work with e-commerce. You understand not just how to build a website – you also understand how technology, user experience, and conversion impact sales. This is a key role where you'll work closely with other in-house developers and have a say in both technology choices and future solutions. Responsibilities Develop and further develop our new e-commerce platform Frontend and backend development Build modern, fast, and responsive solutions Develop product databases, search functions, and product flows Optimize performance, user experience (UX), and conversion Develop internal administrative systems and new features Integrate external services and APIs We're looking for someone who has Previous experience with e-commerce development is a requirement. You have several years of experience as a systems developer and have previously been involved in building or further developing an e-commerce platform. You have strong knowledge of: PHP Laravel or another modern PHP framework MySQL HTML, CSS, and JavaScript API integrations Git It's a plus if you also have experience with: React, Vue, or Next.js TypeScript Python Docker Cloud services SEO and web analytics We believe you Have a genuine interest in e-commerce. Understand how technology impacts conversion, user experience, and sales. Have experience optimizing e-commerce flows for increased conversion and better performance. Use AI as a natural tool in your daily development work. Are self-driven, solution-oriented, and thrive taking ownership.
