Family Care Consultant

About the Job Family Care Consultant – Full-time and Part-time Casa Omsorg AB is seeking social workers and individuals with a degree of at least 180 credits in social pedagogy, behavioral science, psychology, or equivalent higher education for work as a family care consultant within our consultant-supported family care operations. Experienced consultants with their own business and the ability to invoice are also welcome to apply. Job Responsibilities Job responsibilities include recruitment, assessment, supervision, and follow-up of family care homes and emergency care homes. The position also includes support to family care homes and collaboration with social services, schools, healthcare, and other stakeholders involved with the child or young person. Geographic Area We are seeking employees who are resident and active in Västra Götaland, Hallands County, Jönköpings County and Kronobergs County, or Skåne County. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people in, for example, public authority work, residential care facilities, or consultant-supported family care. You have good knowledge of social services work and can work independently while building and maintaining good relationships with family care homes, children, young people, and clients. You are confident, flexible, and demonstrate a professional approach when working with children, young people, and families. Requirements Social work degree or other relevant higher education of at least 180 credits in social pedagogy, behavioral science, or psychology At least three years of documented experience working with children and young people B driver's license Good ability to collaborate and document professionally Meritorious It is advantageous if you have completed supervisor training with a focus on work with family care homes and contact families, training in the Kälvesten method, or other relevant further education within the field.
