Grow With Us Haninge is growing and we're now looking for a placement coordinator who wants to help ensure the right support for our residents. We're looking for someone who wants to take a central role where your work makes a difference for children, young people, and adults in need of, among other things, both internal/external housing solutions and open care services. With us, you'll have the opportunity to work in a development-oriented environment where you contribute to shaping working methods, processes, and structures. We're now recruiting one placement coordinator for a permanent position. Your Assignment You'll be responsible for requisitions from framework agreements and direct procurement of services targeting children, young people, young adults, and adults. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you'll contribute to handling incoming placement requests from social workers/case managers, as well as inquiries about available placements and price negotiations with external providers. The role includes handling and investigating discrepancies related to direct procurement contracts. In your daily work, you'll collaborate closely with private service providers, the quality team & contract controller, the authority department, and other functions within the administration. You're a driving force in the department's joint placement team and actively participate in placement forums. You'll work continuously with direct procurements and ensure these are conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). You're responsible for, together with social workers/case managers, following up on direct procurement contracts and placements, as well as reviewing documentation related to service providers. The work involves negotiating placement prices, contract monitoring, renegotiating agreements, reviewing invoices, and ensuring that requirements and invoice documentation are met in practice for all external placements. The role has a department-wide perspective and in operational work, the assignment is coordinated in close collaboration with the department's contract controller. The position also includes handling urgent placement services on certain days. The work may involve travel around Sweden. Examples of Work Tasks: Actively search for and match service providers for services within individual and family care Conduct requisitions and direct procurements according to LOU Follow up on direct procurement contracts together with the responsible social worker/case manager Negotiate prices and terms Handle discrepancies related to service providers Participate in placement forums and work operatively in the placement process Register documents and document according to applicable procedures What We're Looking For in You Degree in social work or another relevant bachelor's degree Experience from social work within individual and family care Knowledge and experience of contract management Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing and you're well-versed in Swedish Meritorious Experience from a similar role Experience with LOU Experience with authority implementation according to LSS Experience with Ciceron Experience with LifeCare It's important to us that you're a stable person who can remain calm in difficult situations. Assignment Period: Immediate start until fall Scope: 100% Placement: Fully on-site with the client (remote work is not possible) Responsibilities As a consultant, you will work at the Reception Unit within financial assistance and be responsible for providing support and service to individuals applying for financial assistance. Your responsibilities will include: Handling initial visits and applications for financial assistance in accordance with the Social Services Act. Conducting investigations, assessments, and making decisions in accordance with applicable legislation, case law, and municipal guidelines. Informing clients of their rights, obligations, and available services. Documenting investigations, assessments, and decisions in accordance with applicable documentation requirements. Has 3–5 years of experience in financial assistance case management, preferably from reception operations. Has strong experience with eligibility investigations. Works independently and has good ability to prioritize and make legally sound decisions. Is experienced in handling both new applications and a large volume of cases in an efficient manner.
