Mechanical Design Engineer (Welding Technologist) (M/F)

What you'll be part of: The position falls under the Engineering and SKŘ division, specifically the Technical Assembly Preparation department. Our team is responsible for creating assembly and production documentation necessary for the implementation of investment projects, primarily at the Dukovany and Temelín nuclear power plants. Job responsibilities: • Supervision and monitoring of welding technology • Coordination and management of welding processes • Oversight of compliance with quality system rules in the field of special welding processes • Monitoring and verification of the validity of welder certifications and qualifications • Creation of welding documentation • Collaboration in establishing technological procedures • Cooperation on customer projects and with assembly and production departments What you should be able to do: • Secondary/Higher education in technical field • Secondary education - minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position • Higher education - suitable for graduates as well • English at communicative level • IWE/EWE or IWT/EWT certification and industry experience a plus • Responsibility and reliability • Medical and psychological fitness • Certificate of no criminal record • After starting employment, you must obtain security clearance certification (undergo security screening by the National Security Authority) • User-level knowledge of MS Office • Driver's license category B Employee benefits: • Flexible working hours 7.5 hours/day • 5 weeks of vacation • 3 sick days • Regular training and development • Work in a pleasant environment • Meal allowance approximately 10,000 Kč/year in the ŠKODA JS cafeteria • 14,400 Kč/year contribution to pension insurance or supplementary pension savings • 15,600 Kč/year - Pluxee benefits card
