At the Staff of FörsE Mitt, we are looking for an Infrastructure Handler. We offer an exciting fixed-term position with the possibility of extension, where you will have the chance to work on important infrastructure issues. In your work, you will prepare and support needs assessments, coordinate planning, and produce documentation within the field.
You will have close dialogue with colleagues in various departments of the unit as well as with employees in the regiment working on infrastructure issues. Additionally, you will continuously collaborate with other regiments within the Swedish Armed Forces and external actors working in infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Handler, you are also a staff member at the Staff and may work on other tasks within the staff's areas of responsibility, but primarily in close connection to infrastructure matters.
Examples of work tasks:
Contribute to progress from daily facility issues to longer-term strategic planning.
Support the development of materials within the infrastructure field.
Coordinate the unit's infrastructure issues for both short- and long-term solutions.
Follow up ongoing and planned projects to ensure continued success.
Represent the unit in infrastructure matters in dialogues and collaborations with other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces and authorities.
Qualifications
Construction or property-oriented education at university or vocational university level, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Class B driver's license (manual transmission)
Meriting factors
Experience with project management
Experience with facility planning and knowledge of environmental and occupational health and safety requirements related to properties
Previous experience in the construction or property industry, with knowledge of applicable regulations
Relevant work experience from the Swedish Armed Forces (FM), the Fortifications Agency (FortV), or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV).
