We are looking for you to work with a wonderful 22-year-old man. He lives independently in his own apartment where he receives assistance around the clock. Double assistance is available during day and evening; single assistance at night. This is a part-time position at approximately 50% where you work in a team, all working closely together in double assistance. Our client has autism, epilepsy, and an intellectual disability. He faces many challenges in life, but thanks to his assistants, he has the opportunity to live a fine and fulfilling life that includes horseback riding, swimming, and hanging out with friends. The more basic tasks involve ADL (activities of daily living), communication using alternative communication methods, and training to help our client feel as well as possible both physically and mentally. He loves music in all its forms. A couple of times a week he attends day activities and also has other activities on days when he is not at day activities. He also swims every week, so swimming ability is appreciated. Since he does not communicate through speech, we place great importance on the person working with him being attentive and responsive to his signals.
