Forklift Operator Wanted for Part-Time Work at ICA Warehouse in Stockholm!
Are you looking to work as a forklift operator? Do you have another job or are you a student who can work 2–3 weekdays per week during school terms? Then we have the job for you! In your role as a forklift operator/warehouse associate at ICA's Stockholm warehouse, you will primarily be operating a forklift and picking goods by hand with the help of a voice-guided system that instructs you on what to pick. The tasks are physically demanding and characterized by a fast-paced work environment where you work in different temperature zones. You will work at ICA's various warehouses in the Stockholm area, located in Kallhäll and Viby. You need to be flexible and able to get to both warehouses. WORK HOURS: To be considered for this position, you must be very flexible with your availability and able to work at least 2 weekdays per week. ICA operates warehouse facilities 24/7, seven days a week. Work hours are primarily scheduled Monday–Friday 07:00–15:45, though shifts of 05:00–13:45 and 13:45–22:30 may also occur. We are therefore primarily looking for someone who can work 07:00–15:45. You should view this position as long-term part-time work and have a strong work ethic. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting but will work as a consultant for our client ICA. We are currently recruiting with onboarding dates planned for the autumn. The onboarding period is five working days and requires 100% attendance. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are available full-time during one training week. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: To be considered for this position, it is a requirement that you have another job or studies at a minimum of 50% and have at least one year remaining in your studies. We will only proceed with candidates who can provide documentation proving this. Further, we are looking for someone who has: * Forklift certification A1–4, preferably with driving experience. * Good physical condition. * A clear criminal record check. * Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish. * Advantageous to have a B-category driver's license and access to your own car to quickly get to the workplace.
