Sewing Associate at Woolpower
Do you want to work with sewing and be part of manufacturing quality wool products – in the heart of Östersund? Woolpower is now seeking dedicated and detail-oriented seamstresses for our production. We manufacture our garments in Sweden, from yarn to finished product. You'll become part of a company with approximately 270 employees where craftsmanship, quality, and teamwork are at the center. You don't need to have worked with sewing before. What matters most is that you enjoy practical work, have the right attitude, and want to learn a new profession. About Us Woolpower is one of Sweden's largest textile manufacturers and produces wool underwear and socks – from yarn to finished garments. All production takes place in Östersund, which gives us full control over every step in the process. With long experience, we know what it takes to stay warm, and our goal is to spread that – both through functional products and responsible business practices. Sustainability permeates our entire operation. Swedish production with high quality is the core of our business idea, summarized in Responsibly Made in Sweden – a promise of responsible manufacturing in Sweden. This includes fair working conditions, care for the people behind the products, durable garments with long lifespans, and a controlled supply chain. About the Position As a sewing associate, you'll work on manufacturing Woolpower garments in our factory in Östersund. The work can include different parts of production, such as cutting, piece matching, and sewing. Depending on your previous experience, you can start with simpler work tasks and then develop further within sewing. You'll receive an introduction and practical training in our working methods, machines, and quality requirements. During training, you'll receive support and feedback from our sewing coaches. Production consists largely of repetitive work tasks. The work therefore requires that you can maintain focus, attention to detail, and a consistent work pace throughout the workday. You need to be comfortable with work where you get to practice the same tasks to gradually become more confident and faster. The quality of every garment is important. At the same time, we work together toward common production goals, which means that both precision and pace are significant. Who Are You? For us, your attitude and willingness to learn are at least as important as your previous experience. We're looking for someone who: · is detail-oriented and concerned with maintaining the right quality in your work · is engaged and wants to learn new tasks · can work focused at a consistent and good pace · has patience and endurance with repetitive work tasks · enjoys collaborating and contributing to the team's common results · can receive instructions and feedback · dares to ask or request help when something is unclear · is responsible and shows respect for both colleagues and work tasks. You need to be able to understand and communicate in Swedish and be able to review written work and safety instructions. It's an advantage if you've sewn before or have a strong interest in sewing. Experience with industrial production, professional sewing, textile production, or garment manufacturing is also an advantage. If you've worked with, for example, flatlock, overlock, single-needle, or twin-needle machines, that's a plus, but not required. What matters most is that you have the right attitude, want to develop, and feel motivated to learn the work. Employment Terms Employment Type: Fixed-term contract Working Hours: Day shift 06:00-14:48 or evening shift 15:30-24:00 Full-time, 100% Location: Östersund Collective Agreement: IF-metall Welcome to submit your application by October 25. In this recruitment, Woolpower is collaborating with Min Byrå. If you have questions about the position or the recruitment process, you're warmly welcome to contact Maria Hällkvist at [email protected]. Selection and interviews are ongoing, so don't wait to submit your application.
Senior Accounting Consultant at Härjedalen Ekonomi
Are you looking for a broad role in accounting, working closely with your clients, while having the opportunity to influence and develop both your own and the firm's practices? Härjedalen Ekonomi is a small, modern accounting firm with offices in Hackås and Vemdalen. We work digitally and help companies and organizations throughout large parts of Sweden with the entire accounting workflow—from ongoing bookkeeping and payroll to financial statements, annual reports, and advisory services. Personal collaboration is important to us, both with our clients and among our team members. We want to be close to our clients, understand their operations, and make accounting simpler and more understandable. Our work is therefore not just about getting the accounting right, but also about helping our clients understand their financial situation, make sound decisions, and develop their operations. As a smaller firm, we have short decision-making processes and great opportunities to influence how we work. We help each other, share knowledge, and are open to new ideas. Digitalization is a natural part of our daily work, and we continuously look for smarter and more efficient ways to work—both for ourselves and our clients. As a senior accounting consultant with us, you will have a broad and independent role with responsibility for your own clients and their accounting throughout the entire process. The work includes ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, accruals, fixed assets, VAT accounting, financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns. An important part of the role is also client contact. We want to be an accounting firm that is accessible and engaged—one that not only reports what has happened but also helps clients understand their finances and see opportunities for improvement. We are looking for someone with several years of accounting experience who feels confident working independently with the entire accounting process, from ongoing bookkeeping to financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns. You preferably have training as an accounting consultant or equivalent knowledge through work experience. Since we work digitally, you need good digital skills. Experience with Fortnox and Excel is important, and we'd like to see your interest in systems, digitalization, and process improvements. Previous experience with housing cooperatives or community associations is an asset. As a person, we value someone who is self-driven, responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoys juggling multiple tasks while enjoying collaboration and knowledge-sharing with others. You build good relationships easily with clients and colleagues and enjoy working in a smaller organization where people help each other and where there's an opportunity to have a say. We also appreciate curiosity and fresh ideas. If you see a smarter or better way to do something, we'd like to hear it. We offer you varied work with significant responsibility and the opportunity to develop together with colleagues and clients. You'll have opportunities for ongoing professional development, and we place great emphasis on knowledge-sharing and helping each other in daily work. We also offer a flexible work environment. During the introduction period, work takes place primarily from our offices in Hackås and Vemdalen, combined with remote work. Once you've settled into the role, there is the possibility of working from home by agreement. The position begins with a six-month trial period. As part of the recruitment process, a work test will be conducted. The position will be filled as soon as we find the right candidate, and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. Does this sound like something for you? We look forward to hearing from you!
