Quartermaster to Battalion Staff

About the Hospital Battalion The unit is growing and after the turn of the year 2026/2027, the focus is for positions to increase in number to be able to support operations directed toward either field operations or basic training. The battalion staff leads, plans, and coordinates operations and creates the conditions for the battalion's operational capability. The Hospital Battalion today is the Swedish Armed Forces' medical support unit with the mission to establish and operate medical resources in support of national and international operations. Main Responsibilities As quartermaster, you are part of the battalion staff and responsible for planning, coordination, and monitoring of the battalion's logistics. Training Officer

Are you a professional officer with experience in training and exercise coordination? About the Unit Älvsborg Amphibious Regiment is responsible for exercise, training, and production of combat units; amphibious battalion, patrol boat company, and units within the naval military base. The main tasks of the Training & Exercise Department at Amf 4 regiment staff are planning and conducting major joint exercises as well as coordinating training activities. Currently, G7 at Amf 4 regiment staff consists of four professional officer positions. The function coordinates, in some areas, the entire regiment and its combat units' needs. The garrison area spans from the southern archipelago of Gothenburg to the northern part of Bohuslän. The ongoing increase in personnel at the various units means increased demands for coordination in training and exercises, both nationally and internationally. Main Responsibilities We are now seeking a Training Officer who, in their work, will coordinate training and participate in planning, conducting, and evaluating exercises. Your main workplace will be at Käringberget in Gothenburg, but on several occasions you will be involved in exercise leadership at other locations or attend planning meetings at various places in Sweden. G7 works together with other staff departments, with combat units, and other supporting units at the garrison. Work is primarily conducted during normal working hours, but evening and weekend work does occur. Periodic work supporting voluntary defense organizations also takes place. You need to be prepared to undertake additional tasks on behalf of your superior within the scope of your own responsibility and competence.
