Logistics Officer at the Functional Unit at the Defence Medicine Centre

We are now looking for an experienced and driven logistics officer (OF2/SO8) with a focus on developing the defence medical logistics chain – from concept to function in military units. The Functional Unit (FunkE) consists of officers and civilian specialists such as doctors and nurses. FunkE comprises two departments, the Care Provider Department and the Development Department. Our mission is to develop and support combat units and Defence Health with guidelines for safe and secure healthcare. FunkE also conducts development and supply of medical materials and pharmaceuticals, as well as research in the Defence Medicine field. Main Responsibilities As a logistics officer at FunkE, you work at the intersection of logistics, material systems, concept development, and international collaboration. You are a key person in developing future healthcare supply, with responsibility for planning, leading, and following up on your own development projects as well as participating in Swedish Armed Forces-wide studies and concept development. You represent the Swedish Armed Forces (FM) in international forums related to NATO's and partner countries' work in defence medical logistics and materials. You lead and conduct development projects within defence medical materials and logistics, and participate in concept and capability development within the framework of FM's studies.
