What does this position involve? We are looking for a female personal assistant for a woman in her 20s who is studying at a university in Gothenburg. Initially, the work will primarily involve accompanying her to and from the university and providing support during study days. You will be an important part of creating a secure and functional study routine and helping her pursue her university studies as independently as possible. Job Responsibilities As a personal assistant, you will, among other things: - Accompany her to and from the university. - Be present during lectures and assist with note-taking. - Assist with restroom visits. - Provide practical support based on her individual needs. - Be a secure and positive support during study days and other activities. We require a criminal records clearance. Description from the client: I am a happy and social 59-year-old woman who needs assistants. I live in Majorna and have a separate household partner. I have a congenital CP injury and use a wheelchair. I direct and communicate myself what assistance I need. I am a positive and active person within volunteer organizations. I live a very active life and am often out in the city, at various events, or visiting family and friends. You are my extended arm and help me with my daily activities such as personal hygiene, transfers with a lift, moving my arms, for example onto a table, massaging my hands when they become numb. Since I have a hearing impairment, it is important that you speak Swedish and are good at articulating with your lips because I need to read your lips to understand what you are saying.
