Johanneslund's care and residential home is located in Västerhaninge and has 96 apartments for people with somatic needs and cognitive disorders. About 100 staff members work together here to create safety, continuity, and a meaningful daily life based on each person's needs, habits, and wishes. About the role As a registered nurse at Johanneslund, you work with a person-centered approach and have overall responsibility for nursing care and medical quality. You collaborate closely with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, and work together with them based on a function-preserving approach. Your work includes, among other things: plan, implement, and follow up on nursing interventions based on individual needs assume responsibility for medical quality and contribute to good and safe care guide and supervise nursing staff in daily work collaborate with doctors and other professions regarding the resident's care maintain contact with and support family members contribute to the development of working methods and quality in the operation. You work both independently and together with other professions to strengthen each person's abilities, participation, and quality of life. The permanent position also includes being responsible for nursing care and participating in the local management team and the operation's improvement council. Documentation is done in the Epsilon Welfare journal system. We are looking for both those who want to work on a permanent basis and those interested in working extra: Permanent employment: 90%. Working hours are scheduled during daytime with weekend work every fifth weekend. Temporary hourly position: work during sick leave and other temporary needs, daytime on both weekdays and weekends. We would like to see that you have experience working in elderly care and with people with cognitive impairment.
