About the Position As a powder coating supervisor, you'll work with the entire process, from preparation and masking to the finished coated product. The coating facility is based on manual application, and since production consists of both large and small components in short runs, the work is varied and developmental. You'll also have the opportunity to influence work methods, routines, and the continued development of the department, as well as contribute to a well-functioning and safe workplace. The position is full-time with daytime hours. This is a staffing assignment through Lernia with placement at Vaggeryd's Machine. Responsibilities You're responsible for ensuring that coating work maintains high quality and is performed according to drawings, instructions, and established requirements. The role includes handling quality controls and contributing to efficient production flow together with the rest of the operation. You also actively work with organization and cleanliness, continuous improvement, and compliance with the company's quality and occupational health and safety requirements. About You We're looking for someone with experience in powder coating who takes responsibility for their work. You're thorough, quality-conscious, and experienced in working independently, while also being collaborative with others. Vaggeryds maskin is seeking a Powder Coating Specialist Vaggeryds maskin is a subcontractor in a growing industry within truck manufacturing, primarily serving automotive trucks, tire trucks, and lifting applications. Would you like to be part of something new from the start with a brand new powder coating facility in fresh premises? Job Responsibilities This will be a facility with completely manual application. Since we manufacture small series, both large and small parts, your days will be varied. Perform masking, preparation, and coating of products according to drawings and instructions. Ensure high quality through careful inspections before, during, and after coating. Contribute to developing work methods and procedures in the new coating department. Work actively on organization, orderliness, and continuous improvements in daily operations. Collaborate with colleagues to create an efficient production flow. Contribute to a safe work environment and comply with applicable safety and quality requirements. . Background We are looking for someone with experience in powder coating processes. You ideally have experience with workshop work including, for example, drilling, grinding, and measuring. Desirable qualifications for the position are that you have forklift and overhead crane certification and can read technical drawings. Swedish driver's license category B is desired. Personal Qualities Accustomed to working independently and able to take own initiative. You must understand and be able to communicate in Swedish.
