Your main responsibilities: - Contribute to the municipality's strategic work on sustainable community development and physical planning - Develop analyses, investigations, strategies, and planning materials - Prepare decision-making materials and process matters for political consideration - Compile and make data, knowledge, and results accessible to the organization - Provide support in processes and development work related to physical planning and community development - Participate in projects and assignments together with internal and external actors As an urban planner, you communicate issues regarding sustainable community development and physical planning both internally and externally. This means you present information and adapt materials for different target audiences and contexts. A central part of your assignment is to manage the connections between physical planning, transportation infrastructure, climate adaptation, preparedness, and civil defense. By identifying needs, dependencies, and consequences, you contribute to robust, accessible, and sustainable societal development. You will drive issues from early strategic stages through implementation and represent the municipality's interests in dialogue with, among others, the Swedish Transport Administration, Region Stockholm, other municipalities, and national authorities. The work also involves close collaboration with municipal departments and various professions to create shared priorities and well-anchored decision-making documentation. Experience leading or driving complex projects and processes involving multiple stakeholders. Experience collaborating across organizational and professional boundaries. Experience developing written documentation and presenting complex matters in Swedish.
