About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a man in his 50s living in Bara, just outside Malmö. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and the work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise, and daily chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. As a person, you need to be flexible, social, and have a sense of humor. For this position, you must: have a B-class driver's license and access to your own car (to get to the workplace) have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written be a non-smoker (during work hours) Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening on weekdays and weekends. Work hours are 09:00–14:00, 17:30–20:40, and 16:00–20:40. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement. Personal Assistant for Woman in Svedala
We are seeking a personal assistant for a cheerful and energetic 35-year-old woman who lives in her own apartment in Svedala. She has multiple disabilities and is non-verbal. She needs help with all aspects of her daily life, including transfers, personal hygiene, cooking, feeding, medication management, and general household tasks such as laundry and cleaning. Monday through Friday, the client attends daily activities with her assistant. This is a part-time position at 50% with overnight shifts including sleeping hours (on-call time) with working hours 8:00 AM-8:00 AM. This means 4 shifts per month. You are a responsible and confident person who must be driven and able to advocate for the client. You should enjoy going on walks and organizing activities.
