Senior IT Project Manager IAM

The Role We are looking for a senior IT project manager with experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) who wants to lead and drive the implementation of IAM solutions in a complex organization. In this role, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving IAM initiatives from analysis and design through implementation, deployment, and handover to operations. You work closely with business, IT, information security, architecture, and external vendors to ensure that solutions meet business needs and the long-term target architecture. The role involves driving multiple parallel activities and dependencies, ensuring progress, and managing risks, decisions, and escalations. You need to be able to understand IAM-related issues at a strategic level and translate these into concrete activities, decisions, and deliverables. You will, among other things: Lead IAM implementations from planning through deployment and handover to operations. Drive project planning, schedules, activities, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Coordinate multiple parallel IAM initiatives and ensure they are carried out in a coordinated manner. Coordinate work between business, IT, information security, architecture, system owners, and vendors. Ensure that solution choices and interim solutions support the long-term target architecture. Structure and drive decisions on key IAM issues and prepare decision documents for steering committees and management. Follow up on deliverables and ensure that the project's goals, quality, and schedule are met. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and changes that affect implementation. Contribute to change management and adoption of new ways of working related to IAM. Ensure a clear handover from project to operations. Experience At least 10 years of experience in IT project management. At least 3 years of experience with projects or programs within Identity & Access Management (IAM). Documented experience coordinating multiple parallel initiatives in larger organizations. Good understanding of identity management, access control, and information security. Experience working with steering committees, management reporting, and stakeholder management. Documented ability to drive complex projects toward established goals and schedules. Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written. Meritorious Experience from regional or other public sector organizations. Experience implementing IAM solutions in complex operational environments. Experience with IAM Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
