Hi! I'm a 39-year-old man based in Örbyhus. I have a CP injury and use a Permobil and wheelchair. This means I need help with most things in my daily life – for example, personal care, transfers, cooking, and other practical tasks. For me, personal assistance is primarily about getting the right support to live my life the way I want to. I don't have extensive medical needs, but I'm looking for someone who can be my arms and legs in everyday life and at the same time understand when to be nearby and when to step back. A bit about me I live an active life and enjoy traveling, going to festivals, listening to music, having a glass of wine, and engaging in both planned and spontaneous activities. Music is particularly close to my heart – I've previously worked as a music producer and still work with music to some extent. I've also previously run my own assistance company and therefore have extensive experience with personal assistance. For me, it's important that the assistance functions as genuine personal assistance: you're there to make my life possible, while we also need to enjoy each other's company and function as a good team. What matters most to me is your personality and that we work well together, with the possibility for you to work extra hours as needed. Since I live an active life, you also need to have the ability and energy to keep up with both everyday activities, travel, and other adventures. An interest in music is a big plus, as is enjoying travel and discovering new things, but it's not a requirement. Responsibilities As my personal assistant, you help me with things I can't do myself. This can include personal care, transfers, cooking, cleaning, and other daily tasks. You also accompany me and assist during activities, travel, and other parts of my social life. Working Hours Work is arranged in longer shifts, typically 09.00–09.00 the following day.
