Job Responsibilities We are seeking postdoctoral researchers who can contribute to several projects related to thermohydraulics and safety of small modular reactors (SMR). The work will involve analysis to support the design and development of large-scale experimental facilities to be built and operated at KTH and Oskarshamn. Various facilities will be designed to address important thermohydraulic phenomena relevant to both water-cooled and lead-cooled SMRs. The work will be part of national projects supported by the Swedish Energy Agency and has strong connections to collaborative projects in Europe. We aim to develop a probe for measuring void fraction and velocity under prototypical reactor conditions. The work includes developing methods for manufacturing miniature sensors and using these sensors in the HWAT facility. The HWAT facility was developed to study thermohydraulic phenomena relevant to small modular reactors (SMR). The work is part of a collaborative project in Europe and a national project supported by the Swedish Nuclear Power Regulatory Authority (SSM). Project Description Doctoral Subject: Information and Communication Technology We are now recruiting PhD candidates for the Network Security Group within EECS/CLS. We are seeking motivated individuals interested in research and doctoral education in security and privacy. The position involves activities leading to independent research and resulting in peer-reviewed publications. Research areas may relate to any of the areas the NSS group works with (https://www.eecs.kth.se/nss). The Network Security Group designs and builds reliable networked systems. Our research covers a broad spectrum of security, privacy, and networking issues. A number of our results have received significant attention from the research community.
