We are now looking for a personal assistant at approximately 30 hours per week for a great 17-year-old boy who lives on Hammarö, just about 10 minutes by bus from Karlstad. Our client is a social and active young person who loves sports, spending time with friends, playing video games, and organizing fun activities. He attends Fria Gymnasiet in Karlstad and needs support in his daily life to live as independently and actively as possible. About the Position The work takes place wherever the client is, which means a varied work environment. You will accompany him at school, at home, during activities, with friends, and sometimes on trips. We are looking for someone who is: Responsible and reliable Social and engaged Pedagogical and solution-oriented Proactive and enjoys organizing activities Comfortable spending time with youth Qualifications To succeed in this role, you need to: Have a driver's license Not be allergic to pet fur Speak Swedish fluently both verbally and in writing, as support with schoolwork occurs Have good physical fitness since some lifting may be required It is also a great plus if you have an interest in video games, for example Call of Duty. Work Hours Shifts are scheduled during day, evening, and night, on both weekdays and weekends. Night shifts include partial on-call sleep duties. You need to be flexible and ideally able to step in for acute sick leave when needed. No previous experience as a personal assistant is required. This is followed by an introductory period where you learn all work tasks at a comfortable pace until you, the client, and other assistants feel secure.
