About the Role As Operations Manager, you lead the operations unit within the Property Unit at the Technical Office. The operation is responsible for the technical management of the municipality's properties, which includes service, repairs, maintenance, fault reporting, operations optimization, energy monitoring, and indoor climate. The unit also offers custodial services to the municipality's operations. You have personnel, operations, budget, and work environment responsibility for a group of 23 employees consisting of, among others, operations technicians, facility caretakers, electricians, facility custodians, carpenters, painters, appliance repair technicians, and energy controllers. The role combines operational responsibility with a strategic perspective. You work closely with project managers, facility managers, and other functions within the municipality to create long-term sustainable solutions. An important part of the assignment is to continue developing work with operations optimization and energy efficiency while creating good conditions for your employees to succeed. You are part of the Technical Office's management team and have an important role in developing the operation together with other managers. Your Main Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the operations unit's employees. Manage operations, budget, and work environment. Drive the work on operations optimization and energy efficiency. Follow up on the operation's results and finances. Collaborate with project managers, facility managers, and external contractors. Contribute to long-term planning and development of the municipality's property operations. Participate actively in the Technical Office's management team. Qualifications Requirements Several years of experience working in construction or property management. Construction technical background. Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills. Class B driver's license for manual transmission. Meritorious Experience with budget responsibility. Previous experience in leadership. BAS-P and BAS-U.
