Sandviken Public Library is a generous, curious, and inspiring library where good service is central. In addition to the main library, we have five branch libraries in Björksätra, Storvik, Järbo, Åshammar, and Österfärnebo. The unit also includes Litteraturhuset Trampolin for children and young people, as well as a newly established meeting point in Norrsätra.
We are now seeking a librarian with an interest in digital inclusion and MIK who can complement our pleasant work team. The position is located at the main library, which is situated in the heart of Kulturcentrum.

WORK TASKS
You are part of an activity group focused on adult audiences and share responsibility for digital inclusion and MIK issues. Working independently and in collaboration with others, you support visitors and colleagues in using digital tools and services, and plan, implement, and evaluate various activities and training sessions related to digital matters.
You also have particular responsibility for the library's services to our oldest patrons and coordinate work such as Boken kommer.
The position includes scheduled shifts at the information desk as well as other typical public library work tasks. Evening and weekend work are included.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in library and information science, or other education deemed equivalent
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
• Good digital competence and interest in new technology.
• Ability to support, guide, and inspire others in using digital tools and services.
As a person, you are engaged and creative with a strong interest in contributing to the team's common goals. You are an organized person who can plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently.
We are looking for someone who can take own initiatives and work independently but also be responsive to others and skilled at collaboration. You have the ability to see the whole picture and a positive and solution-oriented approach. You enjoy meeting people, both children and adults, and have a good sense of service. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
It is meritorious if you have experience working with MIK (media and information literacy), digital inclusion, guidance, or training.
