The unit is led by a unit manager supported by two team leaders and is divided into an intake group, investigation group, child secretary group, and foster care secretary group. We also have an administrator who is part of the unit and provides support to the social secretaries in administrative work. We are now seeking an employee for our investigation group. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a social secretary in our investigation group, you will work together with your 8 colleagues to handle cases according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act concerning children and young people ages 0-21. Your duties include receiving concern reports, applications, and conducting safety and preliminary assessments. The work involves investigating children's needs according to BBIC, assessing and deciding on interventions, and following up on approved interventions such as open care. You will work closely with other social secretaries within the unit and with our open care services, as well as with external partners. You will be led by a team leader and unit manager in your daily work. The workplace has well-functioning and established routines and structures. The unit continuously works to develop its own work methods within the scope of the work. All social secretaries in the group have been trained in the evidence-based risk assessment methods Earl and Savry. As a social secretary in the investigation group, you will also receive training in these methods. Ronneby Municipality participates in SKR's Professional Journey, in which all employees participate. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a degree in social work and previous experience with investigation work concerning children and young people. You should have good knowledge of current legislation, the Social Services Act, the Care of Young Persons Act, and BBIC. As a person, we see that you are secure, stable, and have good self-insight. In your work, you are relationship-building and enjoy collaboration both within your own work group and with other organizations and authorities. It is a requirement that you can communicate well in both speech and writing. A driver's license (category B) is required. We will begin conducting interviews during the application period. WORK DUTIES As a social secretary in our placement group at the Children and Family Unit, you are responsible together with your 5 colleagues for placed children and young people, both under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act (LVU). You handle all issues that may arise in the child's life, follow up on interventions, and collaborate with the responsible foster family secretary and/or HVB home. In your daily work you are supported by team leaders, colleagues, and the unit manager. The work aims to ensure the child has good development and a favorable school experience. The work includes regular meetings with the children, biological parents, commissioned providers, and collaboration partners. The workplace has well-functioning and established routines and structures. The unit works continuously on development projects, including tripartite parenting, support for biological parents, placed children's health and schooling. We also have joint collaboration with the Education Administration, "SURF", regarding the placed children's schooling. We offer you external supervision, professional development, and wellness activities during work hours, or alternatively a wellness allowance. You will receive an individualized introduction based on your needs. All employees in the unit participate in Yrkesresan training programs.
