About the Position We are seeking an instructor for our culinary program for a 100% parental leave replacement position starting in February through June 11, 2027. You will teach and mentor participants in both practical and theoretical modules with a focus on cooking, ingredient knowledge, and kitchen skills. Your work includes planning, delivering, and following up on instruction, as well as supporting participants based on their different experiences, needs, and circumstances. You will help create a safe and inspiring learning environment where participants can practice, develop, and grow in their professional roles. You will work closely with a colleague specializing in baking. Together, you will plan and deliver a comprehensive, cohesive, and practically oriented program. You will also collaborate with other colleagues at the school and participate in the program's and school's collective work. With us, you will combine your expertise in food and cooking with the opportunity to inspire and develop others. You will be an important part of participants' journey toward a career in kitchens and restaurants. About You We are looking for someone with a completed, recognized culinary education or other training that the employer considers equivalent. You may also have acquired comparable knowledge through documented and relevant professional experience. Experience working in a professional kitchen is important, and experience in teaching, mentoring, or working with specialized diets is a plus. You have strong knowledge of cooking, ingredient handling, food safety, and kitchen procedures. We would like to see that you are also engaged in sustainable cooking, resource management, and how ingredients can be used to their best advantage. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and are motivated by seeing others develop. As a person, you are pedagogical, attentive, and flexible. The client population is diverse. Some require extensive personal care, while you may also work with higher-functioning autism. We are now seeking three employees who can temporarily strengthen staffing as a new client moves in. 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a care worker, you support clients with personal care and meaningful daily activities and leisure time. You accompany the client throughout the day, including during daily activities where engagement is adapted to the client's individual needs and abilities. To create security for clients, we use clear visual communication based on TEACCH pedagogy, along with low-arousal interaction and MI.
