Rēzeknes City Municipality Central Administration announces a competition for the position of Internal Auditor for an indefinite period Main responsibilities: Implement audit policies and procedures in the municipality - prepare the municipality's internal audit strategic plan for 2027-2031 and the municipality's internal audit annual plan, conduct internal audits and prepare appropriate performance reports. Plan and conduct internal audits of the Municipality and its institutions in accordance with internal audit professional practice standards and ethics principles. Requirements for candidates: Academic higher education or second-level professional higher education in accounting, financial management, or management sciences. Practical work experience in audit, revision, or administrative work in municipalities, state institutions, or private audit companies within the last 5 years. Ability to analyze large volumes of information and work independently. Knowledge of internal control and internal audit requirements in institutions. Ability to develop, implement, and improve the municipality's internal control system. Ability to apply interconnected process execution sequences, use professional methods and techniques, and apply theoretical knowledge for job duties. Ability to define the municipality's operational process objectives and processes to be implemented, measurable indicators. Evaluate and analyze performance results of yourself, Municipality structural units, institutions, agencies, and make continuous decisions within the scope of job competence.
