SSAB - Electrical Technician

We are now looking for you to plan electrical maintenance for SSAB's facilities within heat treatment and forming, within the Sheet production unit. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industrial environment with a strong focus on safety, environment, and quality. You will serve as technical support for day-shift electricians and also for the emergency team working shift work. Work location: Oxelösund. Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in different operations. The group you will join consists of four technicians, two focused on electrical and two focused on mechanics. We also have six maintenance generalists; two for electrical and three for mechanics. The team also consists of two electricians and five mechanics. You will work on planning and preparing maintenance work within electrical and improvements to facilities. Troubleshooting and fault correction in the facilities also occur and are part of the assignment. Your main areas of responsibility Conduct preventive maintenance and improvement work. Analyze disruptions that occur and develop corrective action proposals. Plan maintenance stops in consultation with the operations organization. Stay daily updated on the status of the facilities. Participate in facility projects. Develop proposals for long-term maintenance plan and budget for your area. Serve as the electrical safety supervisor for your area of responsibility About you You are an electrician or technician in electrical work with some years of experience. You have an interest in technology and want to work with development and improvements. You thrive in a coordinating role with both administrative and practical tasks.
