We are seeking several CNC operators who want to become part of our production team in one of Sweden's most modern machine shops. With us, you will work with machine processing of steel components for customers around the world. A lot is happening at Proplate right now and we are growing. We have started operations in the USA and at the same time we are receiving more orders from our customers in Europe and Asia. Therefore, we need to expand our production team in Oxelösund. About the Role As a CNC operator at Proplate, you have an important role in our production. You work both independently and together with your colleagues to ensure an efficient production flow and consistent high quality. The work requires good skills in blueprint reading and measurement techniques. Your Responsibilities In your daily work, you will: Set up, run, and monitor CNC-controlled machines. Read and interpret blueprints and other manufacturing documentation. Perform measurements and inspections to ensure proper quality. Make necessary adjustments to machines and programs. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with applicable instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures. Report and handle any quality deviations. Perform daily maintenance and inspection of machines and equipment. Handle and move materials using an overhead crane or forklift when needed. Contribute to order and organization as well as a safe and efficient work environment. Actively participate in our continuous improvement efforts. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a technical workshop education and several years of experience working as a CNC operator or similar tasks. As a person, you are driven and enjoy taking responsibility for your work. You work carefully and methodically and have an eye for quality. You are also a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to smooth workflow in production. You have the experience and technical competence required for the role and are curious about developing further with us at Proplate. We see that you have: · Technical workshop education. · At least three years of experience with similar tasks. · Good skills in blueprint reading and measurement techniques. · Driver's license category B. · Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a plus if you have: · Experience with Siemens and/or Fanuc control systems as well as knowledge of ISO programming. · Forklift certification and overhead crane certification. About the Company: Larsson & Kjellberg is a machine shop with headquarters in Oxelösund and a branch in Värnamo. We also work in the field with industrial services, contracting, and specialist expertise in advanced welding. We are on a development journey that started back in 1880, and we have a clear strategy to develop and grow in the field of complex/heavy steel structures and components. About the Position: We are now seeking an engaged and competent CNC operator for our milling department for large components. You will independently be responsible for machine setup and machining, as well as perform quality controls of larger welded parts on one of our larger machines. Your duties will also include performing operator maintenance and basic troubleshooting, as well as assisting with your knowledge for continued development. Depending on your background knowledge, programming, time calculations for quotes, improvement projects, and certain purchasing tasks may also be part of the position. About You: We are looking for someone with documented good experience in cutting operations. You have good knowledge of cutting tools, blueprint reading, manual measurement methods, and general workshop work. Further, you have good safety awareness, are skilled at communicating with colleagues and managers, can work independently, and have good organizational skills. You are also committed to continuously improving your workplace. The position requires very good experience with conversational programming in Heidenhain and Mazatrol, as well as work in GibbsCAM. Knowledge of Monitor, a forklift license, and traverse experience are considered major assets. We work in both Swedish and English, so it is a requirement that you can communicate fluently in both languages in technical contexts.
