The role of a procurement officer involves being part of the Swedish Transport Administration's work to make good business deals. You will conduct contractor procurements and procurements of technical consulting services related to investments and maintenance of roads and railways. Through communication and dialogue with the supplier market, you create clarity and increased attractiveness for our business deals. In collaboration with our suppliers, you develop our business with a strong focus on sustainable contracting and a sustainable and robust transport system. You'll be working in a procurement department with approximately 80 employees, where we have both broad experience and a high level of competence. Qualifications Who Are You? We're looking for someone who enjoys collaborating and is good at building strong relationships, both with colleagues and suppliers. You are communicative and find it easy to create clarity in dialogue, even when the issues are complex. You listen to different perspectives and adapt your communication based on the situation and audience. As a procurement officer, you need to be able to influence and inspire others by clearly conveying ideas and generating engagement around our business deals. You are solution-oriented and comfortable handling complex issues where different interests need to be weighed against each other to find well-considered and sustainable solutions. You plan and structure your work in a careful and methodical manner and have the ability to manage multiple aspects of a procurement from start to finish. Together with your commitment and desire to create good business deals, you contribute to developing both our supplier relationships and a sustainable transport system for the future. We're looking for someone who has post-secondary education in procurement, engineering, construction, law, or other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent has some years of work experience in public procurement has strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is advantageous if you have experience working as a procurement officer/buyer have work experience and/or theoretical knowledge in contractor law (AB, ABT, and/or ABK) have experience with infrastructure or construction projects have experience working in government operations Additional Information Please attach your CV to your application.
