Business and Operations Manager with Site Responsibility - Blomstermåla

About the role As Business and Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for production operations in Blomstermåla, including production, final assembly, operational procurement, ordering, materials supply, and quality. Day-to-day work is carried out by responsible managers and employees within each area. You are responsible for creating the conditions for safe, efficient, and profitable operations while driving improvements and developing the organization. The role also includes full business and profit responsibility for washing and turning machines for waste containers and the subcontracting business. Here you have an important role in, through your employees, developing existing businesses, creating new customer relationships, and identifying additional business opportunities. The role also includes site responsibility for Blomstermåla, where approximately 30 people from various parts of the group work. Site responsibility encompasses coordination of shared matters within your assigned mandate, but does not include personnel or occupational health and safety responsibility for employees within BK Tech Energy or BK Tech Group. That responsibility remains with their respective employers. You report to the Group CEO, are part of group management, and have direct responsibility for five people: the production manager (who also works approximately half-time on sales), a full-time salesperson, an operational procurement specialist, a quality manager, and an assembly leader for the modular facilities. Your main areas of responsibility Lead and develop production operations in Blomstermåla with focus on safety, quality, delivery, and profitability. Develop the subcontracting business by identifying new customers and business opportunities. Drive and develop operations within washing and turning machines together with internal and external sales resources. Create structure, clear processes, and working methods that support continued growth. Ensure well-functioning collaboration between production, procurement, quality, and sales. Coach and develop the organization's key people and build a culture characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and development. Lead operational safety and occupational health work within production operations and coordinate site-wide work within your assigned mandate, in close cooperation with HR. Who are you? We are looking for a confident, business-minded, and action-oriented leader with experience from industrial operations. You enjoy combining leadership of production, procurement, materials supply, and quality with business responsibility for washing and turning machines and subcontracting. You have the ability to combine a strategic perspective with operational engagement and thrive in an environment where decision-making paths are short and the opportunity to influence is great. You have: Several years of experience in leading positions within industrial production, manufacturing, or related technical operations. Documented experience with budget, profit, and personnel responsibility. Experience in building structure, driving change initiatives, and developing operations. Ability to lead at the intersection of business, production, technology, and finance. Documented experience with customer dialogue, business development, and sales. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English. Ability to work primarily on-site in Blomstermåla and travel to customers, including internationally.
