Care Attendant SPOT for Community Psychiatry, Luleå

The Psychiatry Division has initiated a transition to Community Care, where we are moving care into patients' homes. The clinic is currently developing a specialist psychiatric nursing team, SPOT. Do you want to be part of this journey and help shape the future of psychiatry? We are now recruiting new team members! Are you interested in joining us? We welcome your application today. What We're Looking For We are seeking a trained nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry or nursing qualifications. You have good knowledge of common Office programs and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A B-class driver's license is required, and we value work experience. It is an advantage if you are a specialist nursing assistant in psychiatry, have experience working in psychiatric care and treatment, knowledge of medical record documentation, or additional language skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive and succeed in this role, you are stable and able to remain calm and professional even in challenging situations. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and have strong abilities to plan and prioritize your work. You have empathic skills and can meet people with respect, attentiveness, and understanding of their individual needs. Furthermore, you have good judgment, make well-founded assessments, and act in ways that create a sense of security for patients, relatives, and colleagues. What You'll Be Doing As a SPOT team member, you work closely with patients in their own environments and help create safe, flexible, and personalized psychiatric care. Together with the team, you provide support to patients who need more interventions than regular outpatient care can offer, but for whom home-based care may be a better alternative to inpatient care. The work is varied and independent, including supportive conversations, anxiety management, behavioral observations, and follow-ups. You maintain phone contact with patients and are responsible for ongoing follow-up, both during active interventions and after discharge from inpatient care. The role also includes providing support to patients on leave, participating in family meetings, and contributing to resource teams for patients with more complex issues. You also collaborate with other healthcare providers and municipalities to ensure patients receive coordinated and appropriate support. SPOT works on assignment from physicians in both inpatient and outpatient settings and serves as an important link between different parts of psychiatry. The service enables personalized nursing interventions in outpatient form, often in the patient's home, where a flexible working approach makes it possible to meet patients' needs where they are. The goal is to strengthen patients' opportunities to receive care in their home environment, reduce inpatient care durations, and, in some cases, prevent the need for hospitalization. Care is based on a person-centered approach where the patient's needs, resources, and current wellbeing are central. The target group includes patients 18 years and older within the adult psychiatry catchment area in Luleå and Boden who need more support than regular outpatient care can provide, but who do not require round-the-clock psychiatric inpatient care. What We Offer You - Continuous training initiatives - Opportunity for supervision - Opportunity to influence the development of SPOT - Development and career opportunities where you can help create the future of health and care - Health-promoting workplaces with access to fitness activities and wellness allowances - Link to our benefits: https://www.norrbotten.se/sv/jobba-hos-oss/anstallningsvillkor-och-utveckling/ Job Information We offer a permanent full-time position with working hours scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
