Administrative Case Handler for Subsistence Support

The Subsistence Support Unit is organizationally located under the Social Services Administration. The unit's main mission is to work so that subsistence support recipients find their own income through work and studies. We offer flexible working hours, exercise time/exercise allowance and external supervision.

DUTIES
As an administrative case handler, you are a central part of the social work by ensuring that the work flows smoothly behind the scenes. You are the hub of the operations and support both social workers and managers in their work, manage and organize information and ensure that the operations function smoothly and with legal certainty. The work consists primarily of administrative tasks such as handling incoming physical and digital mail, invoice handling, support and accounting in the operations system Viva, ordering, management of own funds cases, housing social contracts and on-call apartments, as well as other administrative tasks based on the unit's needs. The work also includes working with routines and follow-ups in the operations, digitalization and actively participating in development and improvement work.
You are part of the Subsistence Support work team but work closely with the other 2 administrators in the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a secondary school diploma with an administrative or economic focus as a foundation. It is meritorious if you also have post-secondary education in administration, economics or another field that the employer considers relevant.
For the role, you need to have professional experience from administrative work in, for example, administration or economic administration, where you have worked independently and had responsibility for similar tasks as those included in the position. You need to be comfortable working in different operations systems and have an aptitude for learning new tools and working methods.
Furthermore, you have:
• Good system and computer skills
• Category B driving license
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience working within social services is meritorious.
You have a strong service focus and well-developed collaboration skills - qualities that are crucial for success in this role. You have a structured and solution-oriented approach and contribute to our processes functioning effectively and smoothly. The work as an administrative case handler involves a high work pace, working systematically and being thorough. You work in a team with shared responsibility but also need the ability to independently and systematically drive your work forward.
